RECOL Termofrost P

A recycled propylene glycol based heat transfer fluid that is used in all types of heating systems as a heat transfer agent and at the same time protects these systems from corrosion. The liquid is supplied in green.

Quality:

RECOL Termofrost P is a recycled heat transfer, anti-corrosive, ''ready to use'' low freezing point liquid based on PPG. RECOL Termofrost P is suitable for all types of heating, cooling and air conditioning systems. Thermofrost P is a clear, odourless green liquid, miscible with water in any proportion.

It contains corrosion inhibitors and special types of additives to remain fully biodegradable. It is supplied in PPG concentration to the temperature required by the customer.

Ecology:

Millions of litres of heat transfer fluids are produced annually. Used heat transfer fluids are considered hazardous waste and are therefore strictly regulated and costly to dispose of. According to statistics, only a fraction of the produced heat transfer fluids are handed over to certified companies for proper environmental disposal. It is not known where most of the heat transfer fluids end up, probably in the environment.

The "take-back" and recycling of used heat transfer fluids significantly reduces the amount of waste incinerated and leakage into the environment. RECOL Thermofrost ready-to-use heat transfer fluid contains more than 90% recycled glycol and is therefore environmentally friendly.

Usage:

RECOL Termofrost P: water = freezing point °C = density at 20 °C:
20 : 80 = -8 °C = 1,020
27 : 73 = -12 °C = 1,027
30 : 70 = -15 °C = 1,030
35 : 65 = -19 °C = 1,035
40 : 60 = -23 °C = 1,039
44 : 56 = -27 °C = 1,042
50 : 50 = -32 °C = 1,046

Temperature tolerance +/-2 °C.
